Minuteman parking management
Christopher Fox
Founder & President
Minuteman Parking was founded in 1995 in Marina Del Rey, CA. A native Bostonian, Chris moved to Southern California in 1991 and immediately became immersed in valet parking services, starting as a valet for a small parking provider in Orange County. Chris has done it all, from cashier, to driveway leader, eventually overseeing operations for several properties.
Four years later an opportunity arose for Chris to start his own company, and put his own stamp on the highly competitive valet parking market in Southern California. From his original property, The Marriott at Marina Beach, Chris has grown MPC into a national parking company with over 30 locations and 600 associates.
MPC's success in the parking industry starts with its' team, Chris's policies of promoting from within have made MPC into an innovative industry leader where ideas for providing the very best service possible are shared freely. Chris and his team have also created a 10 point code of conduct, their Commitments to Excellence, which every MPC employee, from Management to Staff must know and adhere to. These service principles were created by Chris through workshops and seminars with his MPC family, empowering his staff to provide superior service by making each employee responsible and accountable for his or her actions.
Chris lives in the South Bay area of Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
Craig Owens
Vice President, Operations
Craig has over 20 years of management experience in the service industry focused on customer service, training and development, and safety. Eventually leaving the parking world, Craig worked in the restaurant industry, becoming an awarding winning chef along the way.
As MPC grew, Chris realized that his former associate would be an enormous asset in providing the quality service MPC strove for and their collaboration was renewed.
